The Maple Bear curriculum is written by our team of Canadian educational experts who deliver annual teacher training at each nursery.

Our methodology prepares children to succeed in a rapidly changing world. We emphasize observation, problem-solving, and decision-making. With large, stimulating, and nurturing classrooms, we provide a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
The program's warm, welcoming and nurturing environment is designed to support the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of infants while developing positive and healthy attitudes towards a setting outside of the home. The program flows over 3 stages that ensure the needs of all infants are met while respecting the infant as a capable learner.
Stage 1: 45 days - 6 months
Stage 2: 7 - 12 months
Stage 3: 13 - 24 months
Planned routines and small group activities consisting of themed learning centers and free choice play are introduced within a setting that nurtures a sense of belonging. Group activities improve social skills and gross motor tasks such as music and movement and outdoor play are also a big part of the Toddlers day.
Through engaging, hands-on activities and collaboration with their peers, our students develop crucial skills in self-regulation and communication, building meaningful connections between new knowledge and the world around them. Whether we are exploring nature, creating art, or learning to read and write, our focus is always on inspiring a love of learning.
The Kindergarten 1 program expands to emphasize subject streams: language arts, STEM subjects, creative and cultural expression, and personal and social awareness and physical skills and well-being. The focus on developing the whole child is sustained, as they manipulate their environment, experiment, clarify information, and integrate ideas.
Competence in language, reading, and STEM subjects is developed systematically and teachers integrate subject knowledge into a variety of active techniques suitable to the developmental stages of the children. Upon completion of the Maple Bear preschool program, students are well prepared for the primary school of choice and have a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Our daughter has attended Maple Bear Town Square for 18 months now. In that time she has gained some wonderful friends and beloved teachers and support staff. She is always eager to share what she has learned during the day with us, especially the songs! Her Arabic and French language skills are coming along nicely. Maple bear Al Jada is so far the best nursery in Sharjah, they take so much care in following the adult to children ratio and prioritize children's safety and well being. They ensure cleanliness and gentle behaviour management. The manager Ms.Helena is genuinely concerned about each child and makes an effort to establish a bond with all the children in the nursery. My daughter has transitioned so well in the nursery and I'm so glad to have found this nursery.
